The Story

Inspired by my Baroque Gold silk scarf and the light that filters through my studio window, this painting explores the interplay of shadow and reflection — the quiet poise of a gentleman’s tailored form and the drape of patterned silk.

Who is he? What occupies his thoughts as he gazes out onto silent grandeur in the late afternoon sun?
